Overview
Dovetail Insurance is a technology-focused managing general agent (MGA), founded in 2006. It was acquired by Victor in 2015 and fully integrated into Victor's US underwriting management division in January 2023, now operating as part of Victor.
Its platform, rebranded as "Victor for Agents" (formerly "Dovetail for Agents"), enables independent agents to obtain online quotes from multiple carriers and bind small commercial policies in real time. The platform is free of charge to agents and offers coverage lines including business owners' policies, cyber, general liability, professional liability, and workers' compensation. It is backed by an in-house service center for underwriting support.
