Overview
Insured Connect operates the NIC platform, a secure data-transfer and service-bureau layer for the life insurance industry that connects carriers, distributors, advisors, and policy owners around in-force policy data. Its four applications (NICcarrier, NICdistributor, NICadvisor, NICpolicyowner) let carriers push data to one source while distributors and advisors get unified access to in-force business.
Founded in 2016, the company is based in Westlake Village, California. It works with over 80% of the leading Canadian life carriers and partners with 35 of the largest US insurance carriers, processing over 60 carrier data feeds. ABL Technologies, a subsidiary of Abacus Life, announced a preferred equity investment in Insured Connect in November 2024.
