Trapets

Trapets offers a market and trade surveillance product that detects unusual trading behavior and potential market abuse or insider trading, in real time or on a next-day basis, to support MAR, MiFID and UK MAR obligations. It covers equities, fixed income, derivatives and alternative investments, with adjustable alerts and thresholds, built-in testing, case management, dashboards and suspicious transaction report generation.

The product runs on the vendor's InstantWatch platform, which also provides transaction monitoring, customer due diligence and sanctions screening. Trapets sells to banks, credit institutions, investment companies, insurers and trading venues, and offers a managed service in which its own team investigates alerts for clients that outsource surveillance.
