Finantrix Atlas peer benchmarks / Public REIT Peer Benchmark

Public REIT Peer Benchmark

Compare a US-listed REIT with the REITs closest to it in assets: revenue, net income, leverage, margin and growth, from its SEC financial filings.

Choose a REIT to compare it with the 25 REITs nearest to it in total assets. You can also enter its CIK.

How the comparison works

The data covers 175 REITs as of December 31, 2025, from SEC, XBRL financial data (frames API) and EDGAR company listings. A peer group is the 25 REITs closest in total assets, measured on a ratio scale, so an institution is compared with others of its own size rather than with an arbitrary band. Balance sheet figures are at the fiscal year end and income figures cover the fiscal year, so the ratios between them are consistent. Equity and mortgage REITs are compared together, because nothing in their filings separates them reliably; leverage and margins differ sharply between the two.

A percentile says what share of the peer group reports a lower figure. Where a measure has a better direction, it is stated beside it; size and mix measures have none. Figures are as reported to the regulator and are not adjusted.
